Stigma Unraveled: Addiction Unmaked is a newsletter and a community concerned about the biggest barrier to the treatment of addiction and substance use disorders: stigma.

Our Mission

  • To explore, understand, and reduce the stigma associated with addiction and substance use disorder.

  • To positively influence the experiences of people with addiction when they seek treatment in the healthcare system.

  • To increase the willingness of health professionals to screen, refer, and treat people with addictions.
